The novel, Invasion of the Boy Snatchers, by Lisi Harrison, is a creative, funny and revenge-filled story about how Massie’s Pretty Committee strikes back at Nina (Alicia’s cousin from Spain) when she begins to steal from them, including their boyfriends.  I would recommend this teen novel to those who enjoy stories about friends, fashion, and getting back.  – Terra

The novel, Brian’s Hunt, by Gary Paulsen, is an adventurous, action-filled, adrenaline rush of a story about a boy, Brian, who is trapped in the wilderness, and on his way home he encounters many challenges.  I would recommend this action story to those who enjoy suspense and mystery.        – Nathan

The novel, Camp Confidential, by Melissa J. The novel, The Witch of Blackbird Pond, by Elizabeth Speare, is a historical, heart rending, interesting story about Kit Tyler, a young woman who must leave her tropical home of Barbados for cold, stuffy Connecticut in 1687.  There she must deal with giving up her freedom and learning to live with complete strangers.  Kit must also confront witch hunters, possible beaus, and Quaker Hannah.  I would recommend this classical novel to those who enjoy romance, action, and learning how to find yourself among strangers.  – Emily   (image: www.classicshome.com)

 

The novel, Artemis Fowl: The Opal Deception, by Eoin Colfer, is a superb, imaginative science-fiction story about a young boy, Artemis Fowl, and how an old nemesis seeks revenge on him for what he did.  I would recommend this literary masterpiece to those who enjoy action, fantasy, and humor.        – Jeremy

The series, The Chronicles of Narnia, by C.S. Lewis, is a fictional, adventurous, and courageous series about four children who are separated from their mom because of an airplane bombing caused by a war and end up in a scientist’s big house with many rules.  I would recommend this fictional novel to those who enjoy classics, adventures, and mythical creatures.          – Kevin
